Tram passengers in Wolverhampton told to find other arrangements after car accident blocks road
Tram passengers in Wolverhampton have been warned to expect delays after a road traffic collision caused the line to be blocked.
West Midlands Metro said services would be stopping at Priestfield, with no services towards the Royal, Pipers Row and Wolverhampton Station, after the collision on the A41 Bilston Road.
The provider said tickets would be accepted on the 79 bus between Priestfield and Wolverhampton.
A spokesman for West Midlands Metro said: "Due to an RTC on the Bilston Road, there is currently no services between Priestfield and Wolverhampton Station.
"Trams are operating between Priestfield and Edgbaston Village only.
"We apologise for any inconvenience caused.
"Ticket acceptance in place for NX West Midlands 79 bus between Priestfield and Wolverhampton."
