'Major disruption' as rail services between Birmingham and London reduced due to damaged overhead line
Damage to overhead lines has caused disruption between Birmingham New Street and London Euston.
Birmingham New Street station has warned of disruption due to the damage between London Euston and Willesden.
A spokesperson for the station reported the disruption at 7.49am on Friday (February 6), advising that a reduced service will be running between Birmingham and London Euston.

Birmingham New Street also alerted that services between Euston and Tring have been cancelled.
A spokesperson said: "Major disruption: services between London Euston to Birmingham and London Euston to Liverpool are reduced in both directions.
"Services between Euston and Tring are cancelled.
"This is due to overhead line damage between Euston and Willesden. Please check before you travel."
Avanti West Coast also warned of rail issues between London Euston and Watford Junction this morning, saying that ticket rail acceptance is in place between London Euston and Crewe and London Euston and Birmingham New Street.
An Avanti spokesperson said: "Due to damage to the overhead electric wires between London Euston and Watford Junction, fewer trains are able to run on some lines.
"Ticket acceptance is in place between London Euston and Crewe, and London Euston and Birmingham New Street."
