M5 crash: 'Major disruption' and emergency services on the scene as collision involving West Midlands Police car blocks carriageway near Halesowen
Heavy disruption is being reported on the M5 due to a collision that is blocking the carriageway.
West Midlands Roads has warned of 'major disruption' on the M5 southbound, between Quinton and Rubery, near Halesowen, following a single-vehicle crash involving a West Midlands Police car.
The incident was first reported by the roads authority at 9.08am on Friday (February 6), with West Midlands Roads warning of delays between Junction 3 (Quinton) and Junction 4 (Rubery).

West Mercia Police confirmed that the crash involved one vehicle, which belonged to West Midlands Police, with enquiries ongoing into the collision.
A force spokesperson said: "Around 9am this morning, we received a report of a collision involving one vehicle on the M5 southbound, near Frankley.
"The vehicle involved was a West Midlands Police car, and enquiries are ongoing."
West Midlands Ambulance Service added that three patients were found on their arrival. All were assessed for injuries, which were not believed to be serious.
An ambulance spokesperson said: "We were called to reports of a single-vehicle RTC on the M5 between Junction 3 and Junction 4, in Frankley.
"Three ambulances, two paramedic officers and a MERIT trauma doctor with a critical care paramedic were sent to the scene.
"On arrival, crews found three patients, who were assessed for injuries not believed to be serious before conveying them to Queen Elizabeth Hospital."
Emergency services have been approached for further information.
Heavy delays were experienced following the crash, with West Midlands Roads warning of delays.
A West Midlands Roads spokesperson said: "M5 southbound between Junction 3 and Junction 4.
"Carriageway blocked due to an incident, with emergency services on the scene.
"Expect delays on approach, plan ahead."
National Highways said the southbound route was closed "due to a collision".
A National Highways West Midlands spokesperson said: "The M5 is closed southbound between Junction 3 for Kidderminster and Junction 4, for Bromsgrove, due to a collision.
"Diversion routes in operation."
