M6 collision: Woman dies following four-car motorway crash before Christmas - police appeal for witnesses
A female van driver involved in a four-car pile up on the M6 before Christmas has died.
The crash happened on the southbound carriageway between Junctions three and four just after Corley Services, at around 10.30am on Wednesday, December 10.
Four vehicles were involved - a black Ford Transit van, an articulated HGV, a silver BMW and a black Vauxhall Mokka.
The driver of the van, a woman in her 60s, was rushed to hospital but later died. Her family have been informed.

Warwickshire Police launched an investigation into the incident and are urging anyone with information about the tragedy to contact the force.
A force spokesperson said: "We’re appealing for witnesses and dashcam footage of a motorway collision after a woman sadly died.
"We were called to the southbound side of the M6 between junctions four and three just after Corley Services, at around 10.30am on Wednesday, December 10.
."The van is understood to have ended up crashing into the central reservation.
"Investigating officers would like anyone who witnessed the collision or saw the vehicles, and how they were being driven to come forward.
"They’re also keen to speak to anyone who has dashcam footage of the collision.
"Anyone with information or footage should contact us either via our website or by calling 101 quoting incident number 111 of 10 December."
