The damage between Bescot Parkway and Wolverhampton means that all West Midlands Railway services between Birmingham and Shrewsbury via Tame Bridge Parkway will be diverted and not call at Tame Bridge Parkway all day.

The cause of the damage is yet to be determined as repairs get underway on Tuesday, December 2 morning.

Passengers who usually travel along the affected line are urged to plan their journeys well in advance, and allow for extra time.
