Motorist reported after being caught reversing along M6 slip road in Staffordshire
A motorist was stopped by road police in Staffordshire after being caught reversing up the exit slip road for the M6.
Officers from Staffordshire Police Road Crime Team caught the driver of the Land Rover Discovery on Thursday as it was caught reversing up the slip road for junction 15 of the M6 near Stoke-on-Trent.
A spokesman for Staffordshire Police Road Crime Team said: "Reversing up a motorway slip road because you have joined the wrong junction, will only end up one way.
"Driver was reported for offence, and still having to then join the motorway.
"Luckily, we caught them before a collision occurred."
