National Express West Midlands have announced an increase in services across Birmingham and the Black Country as people begin to return to work.

The increase in services comes as shops selling clothes, toys, books and electronics will be able to open on Monday, June 15, and will see 85 percent of pre-coronavirus levels of service return.

National Express have posted a message to thank customers for staying apart to stay safe and are working to ensure the services stay safe.

This includes gathering data from the buses, more inspectors to patrol busy areas and a mini-fleet of "sweeper" vehicles on standby to provide more buses and more space on board.
