Fault causes train delays between Stafford and Birmingham

Trains were disrupted by hour-long delays today following a signalling failure.

Services between Stafford and Birmingham New Street were delayed for up to an hour as a result of the fault at Norton Bridge.

It affected hundreds of passengers.
