Fallen tree causes traffic chaos after blocking busy road

A fallen tree sparked major traffic disruption on the busy Kidderminster to Stourport road today.

Published Dec 27, 2013

The tree blew down, blocking both sides of the A451 near the former sugar beet factory in Kidderminster at about 11.25am.

Nobody is believed to have been injured in the incident.

Police said there was congestion in the area as drivers tried to turn around.

They advised motorists to use alternative routes.
