Drivers have been unable to get down Stoney Lane in Bloxwich since January 7 when work began to help alleviate flooding in the street.

Severn Trent Water is carrying out the work but said 'technical problems' had led to it taking longer than expected. A new underground tank is being put in place to stop flooding misery.

Sarah McArthur, from Severn Trent, said: "We've been hard at work to protect homes on Stoney Lane in Bloxwich from sewer flooding. We're in regular contact with residents to keep them up to date."
