Fresh trains blow as London Midland service cancelled
A London Midland train service was cancelled due to a staff shortage today despite a change in timetables that bosses hoped would solve months of disruption.

The company has cancelled almost 1,000 services since October after losing 30 drivers in a short space of time.
The introduction of new timetables yesterday allowed it to draw up new staff rotas but the 6.30am from Liverpool through Stafford, Penkridge and Wolverhampton was cancelled.
