Prince Harry will visit Staffordshire today to remember the lives of soldiers who died in Afghanistan.

His Royal Highness will attend the National Memorial Arboretum in Alrewas in the early afternoon for a service of dedication to formally inaugurate the Bastion Memorial.

The Prince will be joined by family and friends of fallen heroes whose names are etched on the reconstructed wall.

It replicates the former Bastion Memorial Wall in Camp Bastion, Helmand Province, which was taken down last year following the end of combat operations.

The Royal British Legion will host a reception for bereaved relatives after the service.

From Friday, members of the public will be able to visit the Bastion Memorial.
