Rising Manchester band with West Midlands roots set for Wolverhampton headline gig
The event at PACK in Wolverhampton city centre wil l be free to attend
An up-and-coming Manchester band with strong West Midlands connections is hoping to breathe new life into Wolverhampton's nightlife with a headline gig next month.
Sun In Splendour will take to the stage at PACK in Wolverhampton on Friday, November 20, teaming up with Wolverhampton-based DJ collective 48s for a night of live music.
The event will be free to attend, with doors opening at 6pm and 48s performing DJ sets both before and after the band's headline performance at 8.45pm.

Although based in Manchester, Sun In Splendour have strong roots in the West Midlands, with Coventry musicians Harry Edgar and Zak Burton among the five-piece's founding members.
The pair attended school together before meeting Leeds-born Bailey Smith, with the trio initially forming the band.
They were subsequently joined by Cait Niven, from Rotherham, and Joseph Westfield, from Scunthorpe, completing the line-up.
The five musicians began playing together in Manchester in April this year and have quickly started making a name for themselves on the city's emerging music scene.
Their first live performance followed in July, before they played their debut headline show just a month later in August.
Despite having only played a handful of gigs so far, the band have already been busy recording their debut EP, which is scheduled for release early next year.
Their first single, She's Just Not You, was released on August 7, with another track set to arrive before Christmas.
Now the group are looking to build on that early momentum by bringing their music to Wolverhampton, where they hope to help inject fresh energy into the city's evening entertainment scene.

The gig will also see them join forces with local DJs 48s, bringing together emerging live talent and the city's own music scene.
For Coventry members Harry and Zak, the show will provide an opportunity to perform back in the West Midlands as the band continue to establish themselves beyond Manchester.
Sun In Splendour will headline PACK in Wolverhampton on Friday, November 20, with music from 6pm. Entry is free.
