Rhiannon Whyte Foundation fundraiser only £500 off from goal - Here's how to get involved
Rhiannon was tragically killed in a knife incident in 2024.
A GoFundMe fundraiser set up in the name of Rhiannon Skye Whyte has raised almost £7,000 after being organised only four months ago.
The fundraiser, which was set up by Orla Minihane on behalf of the Whyte family, which will see money donated to the Rhiannon Whyte Foundation, looks to provide both emotional and financial support to those who have lost their mothers due to violence.

The fundraiser was initially launched on February 9, 2026, and quickly grew in popularity due to its important mission, and is now only £500 away from its current goal.
Deng Majek stabbed Rhiannon 23 times with a screwdriver in a frenzied 90-second attack in 2024 after following the 27-year-old to Bescot Stadium railway station in Walsall.
He was later caught on CCTV dancing and laughing.
Majek was handed a minimum term of 29 years at Coventry Crown Court.
The fundraiser description reads: “The Rhiannon Whyte Foundation has been set up to provide support for families who have lost a daughter, sister or wife and to children who have lost a Mother to Murder.
“We aim to provide both emotional and financial support to those who have been left behind to rebuild their lives after the most unimaginable of tragedies.
“Rhiannon has left behind a broken family, a grieving mother, and a little son. Almost 150 women are murdered in the UK every year- approximately 75% of those women are Mothers, many with young children.”
Donations have been steadily added to the pot over the months, with Orla saying that the foundation will use all donations to help build a website, support networks, and therapy groups.
She said: “Rhiannon has left behind a broken family, a grieving mother and a little son. Almost 150 women are murdered in the UK every year - approximately 75 per cent of those are mothers, many with young children.
“This foundation will use all donations to build a website, communication systems, support networks, therapy groups and donations for individual children and carers. We will also raise awareness around women's safety and wellbeing.
“No donations will be used to pay any “employees” or board members - every penny will be reinvested into the foundation and its work. Thank you to everyone who has kindly reached out with words of support.”
