The property, known as 11 Vercourt, is one of around 300 distinctive architect-designed homes on the exclusive Little Aston Park estate and will be offered with a guide price of £870,000-plus at Bond Wolfe’s livestreamed auction on Thursday, February 5.

The property is being offered for sale on behalf of fixed charge receivers, and offers in excess of the guide price may be considered prior to the auction.

Inside, the accommodation includes a porch and entrance hall leading to two reception rooms, one featuring an Inglenook fireplace. There is also an open-plan kitchen and dining area, a utility room and a ground-floor toilet. Upstairs are five bedrooms, two with en-suite shower rooms, along with a family bathroom.

The house benefits from gas central heating and double glazing. Outside, there is a substantial driveway, large gardens to the front and rear, and a double two-door garage.

Gurpreet Bassi, chief executive of Bond Wolfe, said the property occupies a prime position within Little Aston Park, a privately maintained residential estate often referred to locally as “Millionaires’ Row”.

“This large home sits in one of the most desirable locations in the West Midlands,” he said. “The property occupies a substantial plot which may also offer development potential, subject to planning permission.”

Little Aston Park covers approximately 600 acres and was created in the early 1900s following the sale of the grounds of Little Aston Hall. The estate is also home to St Peter’s Church and Little Aston Golf Club, ranked among the UK’s top 100 golf courses, and lies close to Sutton Park, one of Europe’s largest urban nature reserves at around 2,400 acres.

Mr Bassi added that Vercourt is situated in a quiet cul-de-sac off Newick Avenue, close to Streetly village, which offers a good range of shops, cafés and restaurants. Sutton Coldfield town centre and Sutton Park are also nearby, along with a number of highly regarded grammar and comprehensive schools.

The Vercourt property is one of dozens of lots due to feature in Bond Wolfe’s next auction, which begins at 8.30am on Thursday 5 February and will be livestreamed via the company’s website, with bidding available by proxy, telephone or online.
