Plans to convert Aldridge office block into flats refused
Plans to convert an Aldridge office block into 25 flats have been refused by Walsall Council.
Centre House, a four-storey office block, is located in the town just behind The Square shopping precinct.

Applicant Aldridge Property Investments had submitted the prior application to create 23 one-bedroom units and two, two-bedroom units.
The top floor of the four-storey building already has residential apartments.
The building has 12 car parking spaces and tenants could have benefited from 23 bays in a private car park south east of the building.
No comments were received by the council in support or in objection to the plans.
The prior approval was refused by Walsall Council on the grounds that insufficient information was provided about the impact of environmental noise, including the operation of the plant on the roof.
The proposal also failed to illustrate sufficient natural light to the kitchen areas.
