Now approved by Walsall Council, the two, two bedroom homes can be built on the plot between R & B Foodstores and A&K Hardware and DIY shop, adjacent to Greadier Street.

The plans also include a refurbishment of the existing property, converting it from a three bedroom home to a four bedroom one, plus a single storey kitchen extension to the rear and six parking spaces.

The proposals include the removal of seven individual trees and one group of six conifer trees, for which the applicant said they would plant new decorative trees to compensate.
