The future of sites formerly occupied by four former residential homes in Sandwell will be decided later this year.

West Bromwich's Bromford House, on Moor Street, and Knowle Resource Centre on King Street in Wednesbury were demolished as part of a modernisation of council services for older people in 2009.

And bulldozing crews razed Rowley Regis's Knowle Resource Centre, on Harvest Road, to the ground as part of the scheme along with Oldbury's Birchfield House on Wolverley Crescent.

The now cleared council-owned sites have remained vacant and unused.

The site of the former Kingsbury Resource Centre in Wednesbury was, however, being considered as part of a land study and will be the subject of a separate development report.
