Popular Dudley pub famed for rocking nights set to reopen under new management
The pub had been closed since January, but is set to reopen under new management.
A Dudley pub famed for live music and rock nights is set to begin a new chapter after months of closure.
A message on the Ye Olde Foundry Facebook page has informed the public that the pub is reopening on July 25 and introduced the new landlady Rhi.
Ye Olde Foundry, on King Street in Dudley, was ordered to shut by Stonegate Pub Company after licensee Jake Hall said he was 'fined' £40,000 for buying drinks from an independent wholesaler.
The message also announced that the pub would be putting on regular live music and said it was also looking at food options going forwards, as well as providing a warm welcome to dogs during the week.
The message read: “Exciting news from Ye Olde Foundry.

“We’d like to give a warm welcome to our new landlady, Rhi, as she takes the reins at Ye Olde Foundry.
“We’re reopening on Saturday, July 25 with the amazing Juggernauts. More details coming soon.
“Live music will be a regular occurrence at Ye Olde Foundry, and our schedule is already filling up, so keep an eye out for upcoming announcements.
“You can look forward to the pool table, darts, jukebox and photo booth. We’re also exploring the possibility of street food, picky bits and classic basket meals, so watch this space.
“Same venue, same great atmosphere, new management.

“We’d love to know what you’d like to see at the pub. Share your ideas with us, and we’ll do our very best to make them happen.
“We’ve already received a huge number of messages. Thank you for getting in touch and for your patience, we’ll work our way through them and reply to everyone as soon as we can.
“Furry friends are welcome during the week and, of course, Ozzy will still have pride of place.
“We can’t wait to welcome you all back, see you soon.”
