Oldbury woman, 50, jailed for eight weeks after a dozen shop theft offences
Zoe Bending targeted the same store three times in one month
A woman has been jailed for eight weeks for 12 shop theft offences and assault by beating.
Zoe Bending, 50, of Vicarage Road, Oldbury, committed 12 thefts between June and September.
Bending began her spree on June 14, stealing items from a store in Rowley Regis.
She went back to the same store two more times that same month.
Bending also stole from nearby stores.
She was arrested by officers from West Midlands Police last Tuesday (September 15) following a report that Bending was stealing items from a shop in Throne Road, Rowley Regis.
Bending was charged with 12 shop theft offences and assault by beating, and on Wednesday was sentenced at Birmingham Magistrates Court to eight weeks in prison.
