January 17, 1975. While Langley changes its face one thing stays the same - the Methodist church - and the congregation are making sure everyone knows it. Mrs Charles Davis, one of the church stewards and his wife, Gwen, were concerned that with all the demolition going on around Edwards Street Methodist Church people could think the building had closed. So Mrs Davis made the poster to make sure everyone understood the situation. Building is already progressing to erect over 100 council homes nearby and there are plans for private development in the area
