Six all-electric BMW scooters are now available to use for guided tours through Berlin.

With a range of around 100 miles, the C Evolution is ideal for darting through the German capital’s streets while sightseeing.

Each tour of Berlin takes around two hours, with a professional guide leading each one.

The route takes in some of the most interesting streets that the city has to offer, while protective clothing – a helmet, jacket and gloves – is all included.

Each tour costs €49 (around £44), and drivers are only required to bring with them a valid A1, A2 or A driving licence.

The BMW C Evolution is the manufacturer’s latest zero-emissions scooter. It features touches such as LED indicators, an on-board computer and daytime running lights. It even maximises battery life through energy recuperation when either braking or accelerating.

BMW claims that the C Evolution takes just four and a half hours to fully charge, and is capable of hitting 60mph in just 6.6 seconds.

Benefitting from the government’s current electric vehicle subsidy, the C Evolution costs from £12,350, while a wide range of additional equipment and personalisation options can be specified to make the scooter personal to the rider.
