Ford GT and Mustang GT4 to make UK dynamic debut at Goodwood Festival of Speed
Team of Ford racing drivers will pilot the cars up the legendary hill climb

Ford’s GT and Mustang GT4 cars will make their UK dynamic debut at the upcoming Goodwood Festival of Speed.
The GT, which is the American manufacturer’s latest supercar, will be piloted by Ford Chip Ganassi Racing drivers Andy Priaulx and Harry Tincknell as it takes on the challenging 1.16-mile course.
Though the race-ready version of the GT went up the Hill last year, this is the first time that a road version will have tackled the route.
The Ford Mustang GT4 meanwhile, which was first revealed at the 2016 SEMA Show in Las Vegas, will be driven by Billy Johnson – a teammate of Priaulx and Tincknell.
The GT4 utilises a 5.2-litre V8 engine as well as a range of spoilers and splitters to make it as effective on the track as possible.
They will be joined by professional drifter Vaughn Gittin Jr in his Mustang RTR. Gittin will be competing in the event’s first-ever Hillclimb Drift Championship.
Visitors to the show will also get a close-up look at the all-new Ford Fiesta, which makes its UK debut, along with the latest range of ST-Line cars. Goodwood will be the first time that the new Ford S-Max ST-Line car will have been seen in the UK.
The Goodwood Festival of Speed takes place from June 30 to July 2.
