Lush throws massive Snow Fairy party in West Midlands to mark 21 years of iconic scent (aff)
Lush is marking 21 years of its famous Snow Fairy scent with a nationwide weekend of events, new products, and exclusive giveaways!
Lush’s iconic Snow Fairy scent, the bubblegum and candyfloss favourite that has become synonymous with the festive season, is turning 21 this year.
To celebrate, the cosmetics giant is hosting its very first Snow Fairy weekend on November 7 and 8 across all UK and Ireland stores.
Last year, Lush produced over 9.7 million Snow Fairy items, with sales hitting over 3 million products in the run-up to December alone — that’s 21 sold every single minute.
Come December, that figure almost doubles to 40 per minute.

The two-day event promises an array of pink-themed fun for fans of all ages.
From being literally ‘showered’ in Snow Fairy body spray, to customising shower gel bottles with sparkly gem stickers, and enjoying live product demonstrations of bath bombs and bubble bars, there is plenty to get stuck into.
Lush has partnered with Karma Drinks to debut a limited-edition Snow Fairy-flavoured soft drink.

Customers purchasing any Snow Fairy product during the weekend will receive a free can, with the drink going on sale separately afterward, while stocks last.
Selected stores in Oxford Street, Covent Garden, Birmingham and Liverpool are stepping it up with bookable workshops, where visitors can create Snow Fairy-inspired flower bouquets and wreaths.
Meanwhile, Oxford Street, Liverpool and Glasgow locations will host live DJ sets, adding a sparkling soundtrack to the celebrations.
Visitors can also have their moment in a Snow Fairy photo booth at some shops, take part in a ‘Guess the Weight’ challenge to win a slice of Snow Fairy soap cake, and younger fans can enjoy themed colouring and word-search activities.

To mark the milestone, Lush is also launching a new limited-edition Snow Fairy massage bar — but it’s only around for a short time.
Claire Constantine, Lush Global Retail Director, recalls the scent’s origins: “Mum and dad brought home a pink shower gel with no scent. I found it in the bathroom and told them that I loved the colour but it needed to smell of cotton candy and my favourite perfume.
“That product eventually became ‘Snow Fairy’. I still love it to this day!”
Whether you’re a lifelong Snow Fairy fan or discovering it for the first time, this weekend offers a sweet escape into all things pink, sparkly and magical.
The birthday bash kicks off on November 7 and 8 – and with so much happening, it’s the perfect time to get your Snow Fairy fix.
