Suspected fraudsters arrested for Tesco haul

Two men have been arrested in Stafford on suspicion of collecting other people's orders from Tesco.

The pair, aged 20 and 30 and both from Oldham, were picked up by police near the Tesco Extra store on Newport Road around 3.30pm on Wednesday after reports they were acting suspiciously.

Officers searched the men and a vehicle seizing a number of electrical items which it is thought were collected from various Tesco stores in other people's names.

The pair are currently in custody on suspicion of fraud by false representation and taking a vehicle without consent.
