Sandwell school expands to create extra places
A primary school in Great Barr will be expanded under new plans to provide dozens of extra places.

Eight extra classrooms will be created at Greenholm Primary School to help meet demand.
The dining room will be also be extended to cater for the increased number of pupils. Existing classrooms and staff rooms will be refurbished and extra staff parking spaces created at the school, off Greenholm Road.
There are currently 450 youngsters, aged between four and 11, but it is estimated that there could be an additional 180 pupils at the school from September this year.
The plans have been submitted to Birmingham City Council, which will decide whether or not to give the scheme the go-ahead.
