Simon Hillier was working at SP Plastics in Baswich when the fire broke out last month. He died alongside Stewart Staples, who was a customer.

Mr Hillier's friends and family will be gathering at St Peter's Church in Hednesford for the funeral on November 25 at 12.30pm.

It has been arranged by Hednesford-based Faragher Maguire funeral directors.

Mr Hillier, aged 41, of Mountside Street, Hednesford, was described as a 'fantastic son and brother and a terrific dad' by his close relatives.

He was a retired kickboxer but continued to go to Featherstone Kickboxing Club to help train the youngsters.

Formal identification of both bodies is yet to be confirmed by police but evidence gathered places both of the men at the scene in Tilcon Avenue when the explosion happened.

Around 50 firefighters tackled the blaze at SP Plastics. Hundreds of rockets were sent exploding into the sky above the industrial unit near Stafford town centre and thick black smoke could be seen for miles.

The cause of the blaze has yet to be determined.

Mr Staples, aged 57, was a worker at Staffordshire County Council and a family man with a wife, three children and a young grandson. He lived in Bond Way, Hednesford.
