Group of children chased by men with machete and knife in Stourport

A group of young children were chased by two men with a machete and knife in Wyre Forest.

West Mercia Police is now appealing for witnesses after the incident unfolded in Layamon Walk, in the Stourport area.

It is reported that two men chased a group of four children, aged between eight and 14 years old, with what is believed to be a machete and a knife.

It took place at around 3.30pm on Monday, February 15.

A spokesman for West Mercia Police said: "No-one was injured in the incident.

"Enquiries are on-going into the incident and police are appealing for witnesses.

"The suspects were both wearing black clothing and hats, one had a green jacket on."
