Three Bewdley roads set to close today as flood defences to be deployed
Three roads in Bewdley are set to close today as the county council prepares to deploy flood defences along the River Severn.
Worcestershire County Council has announced the planned closure of three roads in Bewdley today (Thursday) as it prepares to deploy flood defences along the River Severn.
The West Midlands has been battered by rain showers, and a Met Office yellow weather warning is in place for Friday and Saturday (November 14 and 15).

A Worcestershire County Council spokesperson said: "Worcestershire County Council will be closing the following roads tomorrow (Thursday, November 13) to allow the Environment Agency to deploy flood defences in Bewdley.
"Severn Side North will be closed from 7.30am and will remain closed until the defences are removed.
"B4195 Stourport Road and B4190 Bewdley Bridge/Beales Corner will be closed from 7pm for around four hours. B4190 Bewdley Bridge and Beales Corner will reopen to two-way traffic, but B4195 Stourport Road will remain closed until the defences are removed."
