Bewdley Bridge reopens for two-way traffic after two years - marking end of £10m flood defence works
The bridge has been closed to two-way traffic to make way for £10m flood defence works.
Bewdley bridge, in Bewdley, has finally reopened to two-way traffic following a multi-million pound flood defence project.
The project started in 2023 with £6.2m that was earmarked by the previous government, followed by the distribution of extra UK funding aimed at helping to better protect 52,000 properties from flood risks.
