Owen James from Wednesfield, who runs Owen's Window Cleaning, took a sleigh with Santa himself around the streets of Wolverhampton pre-Christmas and raised £760 to go towards presents.

He and Santa delivered over 200 presents to the ward, with the help of members of the Wolverhampton chapter of the Hells Angels, and handed out sweets to the kids as well, with the big man listening to what was on their Christmas list.

Owen, who as well as running his window cleaning business, cleans the region's road signs in his spare time to make the roads safer, said: "The kids loved it, seeing Santa was a real thrill and this is what Christmas is all about, the magic is never lost on the youngsters.

"I would like to thank the Hells Angels who helped with delivering the presents and everyone who has donated to the cause - it has really helped make a difference to those youngsters in hospital this Christmas."
