35 family homes plan in project switch-up for Wolverhampton community
Senior councillors are being asked to back new proposals for 35 family homes to be built on land formerly occupied by a health training centre in Wolverhampton.
Wolverhampton Council is drawing up new plans for an extended housing scheme on land which was occupied by the former Oxley Moor Training Centre in Probert Road in Oxley. The cabinet report stated that £1.1 million from the Local Innovation Partnerships Fund (LPIF) has been set aside for land remedial work and utility diversions for the project.
It also stated that £797,000 in external funding was spent on the scrapped Oxley Health and Wellbeing Facility and Residential Accommodation project.

The site was cleared following demolition works and proposals were originally put forward by council and health bosses for a mixture of new homes and a health and wellbeing facility to be constructed.
