Wolverhampton Council approves plans to allow former Poundland depot to be used for industrial purposes
Proposals to allow manufacturing industries to move into the former Poundland depot at Bilston have been approved by planners.
Wolverhampton Council has granted international real-estate company Boreal IM planning consent to convert the site for combined industrial and storage use.

Hannah Hiscock, acting on behalf of Boreal, said the change of use would allow the company greater flexibility in letting the building out, and ensuring that it continued to provide employment.
Workers were told in June last year that the Springvale Bilston Distribution Centre would be closing early in 2026 as part of a restructure of the struggling business, which was sold by Poland-based Pepco Group for £1.
