Police shut off road in Wolverhampton after two-vehicle collision

Police rushed to Goldthorn Hill road in Wolverhampton this morning (Wednesday 18 March) after a crash involving two vehicles.

A two-vehicle collision occurred this morning in Wolverhampton, involving a Volkswagen Golf and a Toyota Aygo.

The crash occurred in Goldthorn Hill road A4309 between Ednam road and Ward road.

It caused part of the road, where the crash occurred, to be closed off.

The front of the Toyota Aygo appeared to be damage and in particular its front right wheel.

The rear of the Volkswagen Golf sustained damage.

There were no serious injuries. Police subsequently cleared scene and waited for recovery crew.

The incident where the crash happened occurred near Phoenix Park.
