People living and working near the junction of Vicarage Road and All Saints Road, Wolverhampton, are waiting on repairs to a three-foot-wide sinkhole that appeared near their properties on February 10.

A resident told the Express & Star they reported the issue more than 24 hours before the first council workers arrived to investigate the issue on February 11; more than a week later the issue has still not been fixed.

The sinkhole has forced the closure of All Saints Road at the junction, meaning that road users, including cars and HGVs, can no longer use the street.

Residents are calling on Wolverhampton Council and Severn Trent Water to take action to repair the hole.
