Wolverhampton wellbeing business partners with ice hockey team
A Wolverhampton-based company that supplies supplemental oxygen products for athletes and recreational use has announced a partnership with the Nottingham Panthers ice hockey team.
ROKiT Oxygen was founded by Wolverhampton-born and bred entrepreneur Jonathan Kendrick and American businessman John Paul DeJoria - founder of Paul Mitchell hair products and Patron tequila.

The business manufactures and sells 99.9 per cent pure supplemental oxygen to private pharmacies, wellness facilities, gyms and professional sports teams.
Established in 2018, the brand has now announced a partnership with the Nottingham Panthers who compete in the Elite Ice Hockey League (EIHL).
Alex Bradley, head of sports operations at ROKiT Oxygen, said: "We're proud to partner with the Nottingham Panthers.
"ROKiT Oxygen supports performance and recovery and we see this as a natural partnership with a team focused on success at the highest level."

A leading global provider of portable oxygen, ROKiT Oxygen aims to empower a wide range of people to enhance their well-being including athletes who favour it for improved performance and recovery.
Laura-Jo Bowler, lead sports therapist at the Panthers, said: "It's great to partner with ROKiT Oxygen.
"Their support will help our players perform at their best, recover faster and stay game-ready. We're proud to work with a prestigious brand that fuels performance."

Jonathan Kendrick, chairman of ROKiT who now lives in the US, told how he fell in love with ice hockey 30 years ago when he first saw the Canucks in Vancouver and he added: “As I now live in Los Angeles, I saw the Kings win the Stanley Cup a few years ago, so I'm delighted ROKiT Oxygen is partnering with Nottingham Panthers.
"Ice hockey is an incredibly fast-paced and highly physically demanding sport which makes it ideal to promote the benefits of our easy-access oxygen-in-a-can, as used by professional athletes to maximise physical performance and enhance recovery.
"We wish the team all the best and we look forward to a long and successful relationship together."
Panthers supporters are being offered a 10 per cent discount when buying two cans or more. To take advantage people can use the code PANTHERS10.
The partnership with the Panthers is one of a few recent deals the company has completed which include a partnership with Bath Rugby Club.
ROKit Oxygen also recently supported the 9/11 Memorial Stair Climb at Fulham Football Club, on February 8, providing oxygen products to charity challengers taking part, and the company plans to support further events, held in memory of the 343 firefighters who lost their lives during the World Trade Centre attacks in 2001, at Southampton FC's St Mary's Stadium on July 11 and at the home stadium of the Atlanta Braves baseball team in the USA on September 5.
