Wolverhampton Council sets aside £10 million for pothole repairs - here's where it will go
Wolverhampton Council has earmarked £10 million to spend on pothole repairs over the coming year.
The cash has been set aside in the council's 2026/27 highway capital programme.
Under the plans, Chapel Ash island, Ring Road St George’s, Stafford Road, the roundabout at Three Tuns Lane, Wobaston Road, Mander Street and Price Street will all be resurfaced and relined.
Surface treatment works will be carried out in Penn Road, Stowheath Lane, Stafford Street, Cannock Road and Prestwood Road West. Similar work will also take place in Thorneycroft Lane, Victoria Road, Mount Road and Old Heath Road.
The council said thousands more pothole repairs would be carried out across the city, along with improvements to pavements in Castlecroft Road and Cannock Road.
