'Delays likely' as Wolverhampton Severn Trent Water works due to get underway

Commuters in Wolverhampton are being warned of disruptions to regular travel during planned roadworks

The works, which are being undertaken by Severn Trent Water, will see a two-way traffic management system put into place on Stowheath Lane, Wolverhampton, on December 29.

The works will be in place from 8am, and are scheduled to be completed at 4pm on December 31. 

Severn Trent Water have urged that delays to regular travel are 'likely' while the utility repair and maintenance works take place. 

Severn Trent Water said: "Stowheath Lane, December 29 at 8am to December 31 at 4pm.

"Traffic control two-way signals, utility repair and maintenance works. Delays likely."
