A Power cut incident from the National Grid shows that 108 homes and businesses in the centre of Wolverhampton are without electricity this afternoon at Storm Bram hits the West Midlands.
The incident was reported at 5.55am on December 9. The properties affected are in the WV3 area, including WV3 0DU, WV3 0JF, WV3 0JH, WV3 0JJ, WV3 0JP, WV3 0JQ, WV3 0JU, WV3 0JX, WV3 0JZ, WV3 0LA, WV3 0LE, WV3 0LU, WV3 0LX, WV3 0PB, WV3 0PF, WV3 0RA, WV3 0RD, WV3 0RE
National Grid says the issue should be resolved by 8pm this evening.
They said the outage was caused by a fault on the underground power cables in the area.
A spokesperson for National Grid said: “We're working to restore power to your area. We became aware of this power cut at 5:55am this morning and immediately began work to restore your supply. We understand how disruptive this is and sincerely apologise for the impact on your day.
“Our engineers are working to get your power back on as quickly as possible. We'll update this page regularly with our progress, so please bookmark it for the latest information.”
