Tenants who suffer due to regeneration work and the homeless to be fast-tracked for council homes in Wolverhampton
People affected by regeneration schemes and the homeless will be prioritised when it comes to allocating council and social housing in Wolverhampton, under a new housing policy, which is due to be approved next month.
The council's housing allocations policy will go before the cabinet for approval next month, following public consultation earlier this year.

The policy will prioritise tenants affected by regeneration or redevelopment schemes, ensuring they are supported during periods of disruption and transition. This also supports the delivery of strategic housing programmes, including the improvement of existing homes and the development of new ones.
