Tatton Hall Homes has applied for permission to demolish a block of seven garages off Pendeford Mill Lane in Bilbrook.

The developer wants to build two three-bedroom, semi-detached houses and one three-bed, detached property on the site.

The builder said the scheme was in keeping with government policy that encouraged the redevelopment of brownfield land.

It said the site had previously been designed to be used by seven cars, so access would be more than acceptable.

The development had been carefully designed not to impinge on the privacy of neighbouring properties, the application said. The site had two poor quality tree specimens on the site, it added.

The proposals will now be considered by South Staffordshire planners.
