Death of man found in Wolverhampton house not being treated as suspicious

The death of a man found in a Wolverhampton house is not being treated as suspicious, police said.

The man's body was found in a home in Broad Lane just before 1pm yesterday.

A spokeswoman for West Midlands Police said: "We were called to Broad Lane in Wolverhampton, after the body of a man was found inside a house just before 1pm yesterday afternoon.

"The death is not being treated as suspicious, and the coroner has been informed."

A police cordon remained in place around the house yesterday afternoon.

The man was pronounced dead at the scene as nothing could be done to save him, West Midlands Ambulance Service said.
