Police cordon off house after man found dead in Wolverhampton

A man has been confirmed dead after police and paramedics were called to home in Wolverhampton.

Emergency services arrived at the home in Broad Lane, Bradmore, just before 12.30pm yesterday

But nothing could be done to save the man and he was confirmed dead at the scene, a spokesman for the ambulance service said.

Jamie Arrowsmith, spokesman for West Midlands Ambulance Service, said: "We were called at 12.26pm to reports of a medical emergency at a property on Broad Lane, Wolverhampton.

"Two ambulances and a paramedic officer were sent to the scene. On arrival we discovered one patient, a man.

"Unfortunately it became apparent nothing could be done to save the man and he was confirmed dead at the scene.”

A police cordon remained in place around the house yesterday afternoon.

West Midlands Police has been contacted to comment.
