Former lock factory next to be demolished for Willenhall new-look project
A former lock factory is next in line to be demolished for Willenhall's new-look project.
The next building to be knocked down is the old Legge site in Moat Street in Willenhall.
Dating to the 1800s it was once a thriving and world famous lock making name. By the mid-1990s Legge was recognised as one of Willenhall’s major lock-making firms employing around 400 people before becoming part of the Ingersoll-Rand group making architectural furniture.
