Man's body found less than one mile from primary school in Walsall
The body of a man has been found near a primary school in Walsall this morning.
The man, whose identity is yet to be disclosed, was found in Delamere Road in Willenhall shortly before 7.30am on Tuesday, February 3.
Two marked police cars attended the scene which is less than one mile away from New Invention Infant School.
A stretch of green space, opposite a number of houses, has been cordoned off as an investigation takes place.
A West Midlands Police spokesperson said: "We were called by West Midlands Ambulance Service at around 7.25am after the death of a man who was found on Delamere Road, Willenhall.
"An investigation is underway to establish the circumstances of exactly what’s happened.
"Anyone with any information is asked to call 101, quoting incident number 610 of 3 February."
