Walsall gin enterprise lodges application for permit to sell alcohol round-the-clock

Walsall hand-crafted gin company Black Lodge Potions is applying for a licence to sell alcohol round-the-clock at a premises in Willenhall.

It is for a unit in Morgan Close, Short Heath near New Invention.

The notice states: "Notice is hereby given that Black Lodge Potions Ltd has applied to Walsall Council as the licensing authority for a premises licence under section 17 of the Licensing Act 2003.

"Licensable activities alcohol sales, Monday to Sunday 12am - 23.59pm."

Anyone who wishes to make representations regarding this application must give notice in writing to: the Licensing Unit, Walsall Council Environment Depot, 200 Pelsall Road, Brownhills, WS8 7EN, or via email to licensing@walsall.gov.uk - representations must be received no later than September 30.

"The application record and register may be viewed by prior arrangement with the licensing authority. It is an offence under Section 158 of the Licensing Act 2003, to knowingly or recklessly make a false statement in connection with the application. Those who make a false statement may be liable on summary conviction to a to a fine of any amount."
