Terence Peck, of Willenhall, was arrested in connection with two thefts from a shop, one on June 13 and one on June 27, as well as the assault of a police officer yesterday (July 27).

Sergeant Paul Smith, of West Midlands Police, said: "Through Safer Streets Summer, we are working closely with our partners and local businesses to target shop theft in Willenhall.

"It is part of a national initiative running in town centres and high streets across the UK, focusing on anti-social behaviour, retail and street crime."
