The proposal includes up to 70 homes, a mixture of one, two, three and four bedroom, including 50 per cent affordable housing.
Walsall Council has allocated several sites across the borough to guide prospective developers, the proposed Allens Lane site has not been allocated in the plan.
The 4.96 hectare site is bound by Allens Lane to the north and a brook to the south running parallel.
RCA Regeneration said a new dedicated road will be built off Allens Lane to access the development.
The proposals include several areas of public open space throughout the site along with several attenuation ponds.
RCA Regeneration has invited residents to have their say on the proposals using their virtual public consultation website.
A full planning application will then be submitted to Walsall Council for consideration.
RCA Regeneration said: “The vision is to deliver a landscape led, high quality development that follows the principles of good placemaking.
“The proposed development will provide generous public open space for informal recreation and enjoyment by the local community, with high visual amenity and enhanced biodiversity.”
