Four people freed themselves from Bloxwich home after garden shed blaze spread to property
A total of four people freed themselves from a Bloxwich home after a fire spread from a garden shed.
Fire crews were called to Revival Street shortly after 10.30pm on Wednesday (June 18).
Before their arrival, four people had freed themselves from the property.
West Midlands Fire Service said the blaze is believed to have been started accidentally in a rear garden shed.
It spread to a car and the doors and windows at the back of a house and caused heat damage to two neighbouring properties.
A fire service spokesman added: "Firefighters used three hose reels to fully extinguish the fire and there were no injuries or casualties.
"Crews damped down, and all resources had left this incident by 1.10am."
Residents were told to avoid the area and close their windows while firefighters tackled the blaze.
Elsewhere in Walsall on Wednesday evening, fire crews were called to tackle a blaze at the Coppice Side Industrial Estate in Brownhills.
