Power cut affecting hundreds of homes in Walsall area cleared
A power cut affecting hundreds of homes in the Walsall area from this morning has been almost completely cleared.
National Grid said the incident was reported at just after 2am and had affected more than 360 properties.
The following areas were affected: WS8 7BP, WS8 7BS, WS8 7ET, WS9 9HZ, WS9 9JB, WS9 9JD, WS9 9JE, WS9 9JF, WS9 9JG, WS9 9JR, WS9 9JX, WS9 9JY, WS9 9JZ, WS9 9NE, WS9 9NP, WS9 9NT, WS9 9NX, WS9 9NY, WS9 9PA, WS9 9QA, WS9 9RB
It was estimated the problem would be resolved by midday, according to the National Grid website.
An update on the National Grid website stated that just two properties in the Brownhills area were still without power, with the other postcode areas having had power restored.
